Gilmanton-----Mrs. Amelia M. Hurd, 77, of 20 Sapwood Ave, Gilmanton, died at the Belknap County Nursing Home on Saturday, December 21, 2002. She was the widower of the late Keith L. Hurd, who died on October 26, of this year.
Mrs. Hurd was born in Laconia, NH November 14, 1925, the daughter of Fred and Amelia Nelson. She was employed as an inspector for Laconia Needle for fifteen years.
Survivors include a son, Keith W. Hurd of Franklin, NH and a sister, Dorothy Wild of Naples, Fl; one niece and a nephew.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2003 at 1:00 PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH. Rev. Charles Crook, Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Belmont, will officiate. Burial will follow in the family lot at Bayside Cemetery, Laconia, NH
In lieu of flowers , memorial donations, in her name, may be made to Community Health and Hospice, 780 North Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
